Wendy Cohen, the owner/broker of Wendy Cohen Realty, grew up in the Prospect Hill Area of East Rock. She attended The Foote School and Hamden Hall Country Day School and stayed in New Haven until she went to Boston University for college.
Wendy moved back to New Haven when she became a mother of two lovely children and has been a Realtor at two New Haven realty firms for many years. In March 2023, Wendy started Wendy Cohen Realty, a small boutique firm focusing in East Rock, Wooster Square, Downtown New Haven, Hamden and the shoreline where she lives.
Wendy Cohen Realty is purposely small but has many contacts within the community. Wendy’s father was the head of cardiology at Yale for many years, and the firm has many clients in the Yale community. This helps sellers find buyers very quickly, and the firm leases many luxurious apartments in Wooster Square and East Rock for many landlords in the spring market and has some of the most unique apartments and houses within these areas.
There are larger firms in the area but with Wendy Cohen Realty our agents are seasoned and very experienced. We work 24/7 to help you with your real estate needs and have the resources, such as the local lenders, inspectors, stagers, and the top photographers who will make the transaction seem effortless. Mary Frost worked for 34 years in the telecommunications industry for Southern New England Telephone, SBC Communications, and AT&T.
Mary, who has always been fascinated with the real estate industry, and bought and sold a number of properties personally, decided to embark as a Realtor professionally to the delight of her friends and family whom she has since helped sell and purchase their new properties. Mary has been a successful licensed Realtor in the state of Connecticut for the past six years.
Mary specializes in residential real estate and she finds it truly fulfilling helping first time home buyers, as well as seasoned buyers, find their perfect new home in a very competitive market. Her smile is infectious, and through the sometimes stressful process, of purchasing and selling, Mary’s clients all state that she was very knowledgeable and professional and guided them through each step with ease.
Mary will provide buyers with the most professional outside vendors to help the transaction go flawlessly, from mortgage lenders with years of experience, to inspection companies, which is a very important component in purchasing a home that will delight for years to come, to local closing attorneys.
Mary’s sellers state time and time again that her work ethic, negotiation skills, staging of the property, and fiduciary care were more than they ever could have hoped for in a Realtor.
